Just a few of the Charities at Searches UK we support!

At Searches UK supporting Local charities is something that is extremely important to us.

Wear it Pink

Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.

And since our first event in 2002, together we’ve raised over £33 million for our vital research. Research that’s working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.

Circus Starr

A trip to the circus is a magical experience that remains with children for the rest of their lives; something that all children deserve – and we make that happen. However, we don’t work alone – we have the support of some incredible people and organisations who make generous donations so that we can offer tickets to disabled and disadvantaged children and their families for free.

Property Professionals Lunch

Our Property Professionals Lunch is held quarterly at Hotel Du Vin, Brighton, it is a networking event for professionals within the property industry.

This year alone PPL has raised an incredible £2,240 for RockingHorse Childrens Charity!

With the money raised, we are able to provide the Royal Alexandra Hospital with extra blood pressure monitors for the surgical ward. Demand on the ward and the increased complexity of surgeries means the monitors are required to ensure young patients are monitored sufficiently and safely. The monitors cost £500 each which means PPL have raised enough to purchase 4 monitors for the hospital!

A massive thank you to everyone who has contributed to this total, we could not have done it without your support.
Our next mission for the January lunch is to raise at least £310 for a new TV on a stand for the outpatients in the A&E department!
