Property Professionals One One Roof
Our quarterly lunch gives all property professionals in the Sussex region the opportunity to mingle with peers and like-minded people in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to discuss new ideas and create fresh business opportunities.
There is a guest speaker each quarter and a chance to enter our prize draw for just £10 (minimum) to raise money for the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity which helps improve the lives of children who are seriously ill in Sussex.
Due to building works taking place in the Dome, July’s lunch will be relocated to Hotel Du Vin’s Gallery.
To compliment the Gallery setting which includes access to the outdoor roof-top, you will be welcomed to this
summer event with a glass of Pimms or Prosecco. Additionally, canapes, platters and fish & chips/halloumi & chip cones will be available during the event for you to tuck into.

Venue: (Hotel) Pub Du Vin Brighton
The cost is just £30 per person and you will be served a 3 course lunch along with wine, tea and coffee.
Ridgeview, a family company dedicated to the production of the highest quality sparkling wine, will supply our welcome drinks in October. This is a great opportunity to taste award winning wine from traditional sparkling grape varieties with world class status.

We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone that has joined us at previous lunches and donated money in our prize draw. With your help we have been able to raise enough money to buy TWO incubators for premature and ill babies. Thank you so so much, we really appreciate all of your support!
We will continue to raise money at future lunches and will continue to support ongoing projects at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit.

Lorelei Gibb from Dolphin Computer Upgrades Ltd highlighted the importance of social media in today’s world and provided useful tools to help implement strong online marketing strategies. The charity prize was a Porsche Driving Experience voucher.

Richard Rawlings from Estate Agency Insight provided valuable training to help companies raise their commission levels and our charity prize was a Marco Pierre White Meal voucher.

Tony Mernagh, Executive Director of the Brighton & Hove Business Forum and Economic Partnership, gave an overview of the current local economic picture as well as a look at the ‘City Plan’ over the next few years and what this means to the future of Brighton & Hove. Our charity prize was two tickets to Glorious Goodwood in the members only Richmond Enclosure with a champagne reception and lunch for two.

Eleanor Harris, the Chief Executive of Brighton i360, discussed the most high profile attraction to come to our city. She explored the construction of the tower and explained the economic and social benefits it will bring to Brighton. The tower is designed to create an iconic viewing experience and enhance the city’s position as a top tourist destination and culture hub. Eleanor has worked at a senior level for the London Eye and knows how to get these projects “off the ground”. Our charity prize was a Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise on the River Thames.

Lee Evans, Director of Organic Roofs, explored the benefits of green roofs, which prioritise biodiversity and stormwater management, for new builds and retrofits. Lee comes from a background in the green roofs and green infrastructure sector, with specific expertise in green roof design for biodiversity and a strong commitment to maximising the social as well as environmental impact of their business operations. We looked into the benefits of these innovative products and took a closer look at projects in the Sussex area. The charity prize was a 3 course dinner for two at the award winning bistro Hotel Du Vin.

At this quarter’s lunch we were joined by DevAssist’s Managing Director, Paul Addison, who explored development and planning is Sussex. Paul has been involved in the residential housing industry for more than 25 years. He has a great overview of the industry with skills in land identification, planning, risk elimination, sales and marketing. Paul also created DevAssist’s product range which offers the public a unique insight into any potential developments that could impact on their future. Our charity prize was a Lunch for two at Blenheim Palace.

Our guest speaker at this quarter’s lunch was Chris Mansfield, Managing Director of Davenport Property Investment who explored the reasons behind why he formed Davenport, the services they offer and how it can integrated with investment portfolios to help people achieve a brighter future. Chris founded Davenport Property Investment with the objective of bringing transparency and honesty to the non-regulated property investment sector. Our charity prize, kindly donated by Matthew Murphy Electrical Services, was a ‘Show and Stay’ voucher for two.

Lisa Beale, Head of Checkaprofessional, joined us as a guest speaker to discuss the benefits of using an online feedback site to demonstrate how client feedback can be used in marketing as well as for compliance purposes. Ridgeview, an award winning Sussex winery, also supplied our welcome drinks and our charity prize draw was a glamping break for two in aid of the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
